> Startup Ignition is a pre-seed venture capital firm and entrepreneurial ecosystem based in Utah, investing across the USA. Founded by John Richards and Tyler Richards, the organization helps founders validate ideas, get funded, and build durable startups through three connected offerings: a startup bootcamp (est. 2015), a venture fund (est. 2022), and an AI-powered ToolSuite platform (est. 2026). Unlike standalone funds, Startup Ignition connects education, tools, and capital into one founder development system.

### Startup Ignition Ventures (Venture Fund)
Pre-seed venture capital fund investing up to $1M in B2B software, tech, AI, and SaaS companies. Sub-$1M fund by design — we believe founders can do more with less now than at any point in startup history. The fund is built on a founder development system — not just capital, but in-the-trenches operators who roll up their sleeves on day one.

**Investment Thesis:** We invest in evidence — real customers, real traction, real execution. We invest in founders before they're a household name. And we don't just write a check. We built an entire system to give founders every possible advantage.

**What We Look For:** Pre-seed stage, $35K–$85K MRR sweet spot, paid pilots or 5–50 customers, B2B software/AI/SaaS. We lead most deals. We're not a pre-revenue fund.
